Women’s Track Opens Outdoor Season at UH

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team will debut the 2026 outdoor season Thursday at the University of Houston's Kirk Baptiste Invite. The Owls will have several top finishers from the American Indoor Championships have their outdoor season debut this weekend. Saniya Friendly will open the outdoor season in the 400m, after finishing second in the 60m and third at the 200m at indoors.
