STATESBORO — The Georgia Southern baseball team (5-17, 0-5 SBC) were defeated by Marshall (13-8, 5-0 SBC) by a score of 13-5 on Saturday afternoon (March 21st) at J.I. HOW IT HAPPENED: After a calm opening frame, the Herd started their scoring in a powerful way as Oliver Service launched a solo homer to give Marshall a 1-0 lead.
