Men’s Track & Field: Macalester Competes in First Outdoor Meet at Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men’s track & field team began the outdoor season at the Hamline Invitational Monday afternoon. No team scores were kept. In the track events, senior Jay Lebakken (Minneapolis, Minn./Edina) finished fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.13. In the 1500 meters, junior Quinn Hoisington (Seattle, Wash./Lincoln) took fifth in 3:58.71, which ranks eighth all-time at Macalester. Senior Tyler Edwards (Beaverton, Ore./Oregon Episcopal) and junior Daniel Wiltse (Missoula, Mont./Hellgate) finished right behind Hoisington in sixth and seventh, respectively.
