Jake Russo Named Player of the Week by NEC

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The NEC announced its weekly award winners on Tuesday afternoon, highlighting New Haven Baseball catcher Jake Russo (Yaphank, N.Y./Bellport) as its Player of the Week. The junior picked up eight hits in four games during the week, including three doubles and a solo home run. He also scored four runs during the weekend series with Wagner College, as the Blue & Gold picked up their first series win as a Division I program.
