Dahlgren, Smick lead Skyline softball in blowout against Eastside Catholic

The Skyline softball team blew out their crosstown rivals Eastside Catholic 14-2 on Monday afternoon. The Spartans (5-0) went into the game as heavy favorites against the Crusaders (2-4). Skyline senior Emma Dahlgren and junior Emi Smick proved to be especially effective, with a total of eight runs batted between them. The duo contributed to nine of the fourteen runs scored in the afternoon.
