El Paso’s Americas HS boys soccer team loses in state semifinals

MIDLAND, TX - Prosper's Walnut Grove scored with 6:31 left in regulation to defeat Americas, 1-0, in the Class 5A, Division 1 state semifinals of the 2026 Texas, UIL boys soccer playoffs. Americas' season ends with a 22-3 record after Friday's loss at Astound Broadband Stadium. Prosper Walnut Grove is 31-0 and advances to the state title match on Friday, April 10 in Georgetown.
