Hawkins claims RMAC Honor
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Colorado Mesa University sophomore goalie Heather Hawkins was named as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. The honor is the third of her career and the first of the Mavericks' season and comes after she recorded a season-high 13 saves in the Mavs' 18-6 victory over previous RMAC-leading Westminster University on Friday.
