Hefner Named United East Pitcher of the Week

Latham, NY- The United East Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday, April 6, with Penn State Berks’ Justin Hefner being named United East Pitcher of the Week. Hefner had his best performance of the season in the Nittany Lions win over the University of Valley Forge. He pitched all 7 innings in the 10-0 victory, allowing only three hits while striking out five. Hefner is now 2-2 on the season, having appeared in nine games.
