We are nearly halfway through softball's regular season, according to the calendar. So we thought it would be interesting to get an early look at potential YAIAA player of the year candidates. Most teams have at least five games under their belts, with a couple closing in on 10 games played. Here are the players who stand out statistically, from the plate, the mound or both.
