Rubio Wins Region Recognition

By: Everett Corder ([email protected]) LUBBOCK, Texas (April 8. 2026) - Lubbock Christian University senior Aaron Rubio was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association South Central Region Pitcher of the Week, the association announced on Wednesday. The award comes on the heels of Rubio's recognition as the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week. It is the second time this season he has claimed both awards.
