Women’s Track: Kennedy Thompson Named GSC Field Athlete of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced its Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions for performances during March 30-April 5. TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Tamsyn Gibbs, So., UAH Recorded a personal-best and school record in the 3000m steeplechase at the Mike Fanelli Classic. Took home third among DI talent with an NCAA provisional time of 10:45.49. Now ranks second in the GSC and 10th in DII for the event.
