Men’s Volleyball Finishes Runner-Up at 2026 CUNYAC Championship

The men’s volleyball team competed in the CUNYAC Championship on Friday night, against the number one-seeded Gothic Knights from New Jersey City University (NJCU), and fell in four tough sets. NJCU got off to a quick 7-1 start early in the first set and won 25-15. Both teams tied eight times in the second set up until 12-12. The Gothic Knights went up by as much as six (18-13) while the Bearcats cut into the margin with a pair of kills by Peter Gavroff and Benjamin Nirenstein (19-16).
