Out of town teams take Hananan Invitational Tournament titles
One of the oldest high school baseball tournaments in the country is in the books as two champions were crowned on April 9, the final day of the 56th Hanahan Invitational Tournament (HIT). Forty teams from five states competed at area high school venues leading up to the two division championship games. The two divisions were named in honor of two former Hanahan High baseball coaches, Tom Hatfield and Bill Steadman.
