Samford Women’s Tennis Defeats UNCG

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Samford women's tennis defeated the UNCG Spartans Friday afternoon, 5-2, at the Samford Tennis Center. The Bulldogs moved to 10-9 overall on the season and 2-3 in conference play. Samford secured the doubles point to open the match, the duo of Hailey Troup and Eleni Liakonis earned a 6-2 victory, while Lea Erenda and Sara Erenda won their match with a 6-2 win to give the Bulldogs an early 1–0 advantage.
