Softball Splits Series Opener Doubleheader Against Central Michian

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The University of Massachusetts softball team (14-23, 6-11 MAC) split the first two games of a three contest series against Central Michigan (19-16, 10-6 MAC). After picking up a 5-3 victory in the opening game of the day, the Minutewomen fell 7-2 to end the day. Hannah Streicher continued to stay hot, picking up her fourth consecutive win.
