VSU drops double header to LUPA
GAME 1 | Lincoln (PA) 5, Virginia State 4 ETTRICK, Va. –The Virginia State Trojans fell 5-4 in an eight-inning matchup to the Lincoln (PA) Lions Saturday. Carma Williams (1-3) got the ball to start for Virginia State (4-16, 3-6) and took the loss. Ava Brown was a bright spot for the Trojans, starting the ballgame and throwing 5.1 innings, giving up two runs, all earned, on five hits, with three walks and seven strikeouts.
