Wrigley clinches as Men’s tennis tops Oglethorpe, finishes SAA play undefeated
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Lucas Wrigley clinched the match as Sewanee’s men’s tennis team defeated Oglethorpe, finishing its conference slate undefeated and improving to 17-1 on the season. Sewanee took early control by sweeping all three doubles matches. Ben Lammert and Drew Rukavina opened the scoring with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles. Andre-Remi Jakobi and Samuel Schroerlucke followed with a 6-4 victory at No. 1 to secure the doubles point, and Wrigley and Max Verellen completed the sweep with a 6-3 decision at No. 3, giving the Tigers a 1-0 advantage entering singles play.
