Barton women’s tennis downs Chowan, 5-2, Sunday afternoon at home for second straight victory

WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's tennis team (11-6, 7-3) made it two victories in a row with a 5-2 triumph over Chowan (5-12, 2-8) Sunday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas match at the Michalak Complex. The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches while a quartet of Barton players – seniors Leonie Hellum-Lilleengen (Bekkestua, NORWAY) and Eulalia Pascual Biosca (Albatarrec, SPAIN), junior Claudia Zaratiegui Marquez (Barcelona, SPAIN) and sophomore Alejandra Carmona Garcia (Fraga, SPAIN) – earned victories in singles and doubles action.
