Marroquin Jr. Named Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week

CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College sophomore Mikey Marroquin Jr. has been named Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week in honors announced Monday (April 13) by the conference. Marroquin was dominant out of the bullpen in Presbyterian's 5-2 conference victory over first-place Winthrop on Saturday in Clinton. He tossed the final 2.1 innings against the Eagles, retiring seven of the eight batters he faced. He did not allow a hit and struck out two, handing Winthrop its first conference loss of the season.
