McNamara Rides Ridiculous String of Performances to NE10 Player of the Week Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Graduate student Shane McNamara (Londonderry, N.H.) of the 25th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University baseball team earned NE10 Player of the Week honors for the period ending April 12, the league office announced Monday. McNamara hit .560 (14-25) with eight extra-base hits, including four home runs, 19 RBI and nine runs scored during a 5-0 week for SNHU. He slashed .571/1.200/1.771, while going 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts and making all eight of his plays in center field.
