Notre Dame’s Cassandre Prosper selected by Washington Mystics in WNBA Draft

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame women’s basketball guard Cassandre Prosper has been selected by the Washington Mystics in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Draft. Prosper is the 19th overall pick and the fourth pick of the second round. This past season, Prosper averaged 13.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She was named the ACC’s most improved player and to the conference’s all second team. The Mystics went 16-28 last season and missed the playoffs.
