Cardinals Fall in Road Doubleheader at St. Lawrence
CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State softball team opened its week with a road non-conference doubleheader against St. Lawrence, falling in both contests despite early offensive production in each game. In game one, the Cardinals came out strong, striking for three runs in the second inning to take an early lead. Leila Toomey (Commack, N.Y./Commack) put Plattsburgh on the board with an RBI single to center, scoring Natalie Rogers (Minisink, N.Y./Minisink Valley).
