John Seavey Promoted to Associate Head Coach for Men’s Basketball

ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt Athletics and Head Men's Basketball Coach DJ Broome have announced the promotion of John Seavey to Associate Head Coach following a successful first season with the Lumberjacks program. Seavey joined Broome's inaugural staff ahead of the 2025–26 season and made an immediate impact across multiple areas of the program, including on-court development, academic success, and student-athlete retention.
