Morris, Mason Named NEC Track, Field Athletes of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Graduate Justin Morris and junior Jack Mason have been named NEC Track Athlete of the Week and Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Morris earns the nod after running a personal-best 30:30.61 time in the 10,000m at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic. Morris shaved off a minute from his last time running the 10,000m, a 31:33.53 time at the 2024 NEC Outdoor Championship. This is Morris' first time to be named an NEC weekly award winner.
