Williams Earns First SLC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week Award

RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The Southland Conference (SLC) announced on Wednesday that The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros track & field freshman Dior Williams has been named the SLC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. This is the first conference weekly award for Williams, a hurdler and sprinter from Missouri City, Texas. The freshman earned two wins and set two meet records at Texas A&M-Kingsville's Cactus Cup on Saturday.
