Grinnell, Luther take advantage of perfect weather to battle in softball twin bill

GRINNELL, Iowa – After having their games rained out on a miserable day last weekend, Grinnell College and Luther College took advantage of picture-perfect weather Thursday to play a softball doubleheader. Propelled by four unearned runs in the first inning of the opener, Luther raced to an 11-3, six-inning victory at the Softball Complex. The Vikings then needed a rally to outlast the hosts 6-4 in the second game.
