Iriondo and Gilpatric Compete in 10K at Wake Forst Invitational on Thursday Evening

WAKE FOREST, N.C. - Charleston Southern sent a group of their top distance runners to compete at the Wake Forest Invitational on Thursday evening. The Buccaneers' Martin Iriondo and Micah Gilpatric each claimed a top eight finish in the event at the meet. Iriondo ran a personal best time of 29:46.06 for fifth at the meet and sixth in school history. The time ranks as the 101st fastest time in NCAA D1 so far this season.
