FGCU takes 3-2 win over USF

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball (18-12) opened the Gulf Front Invitational with a 3-2 win over host USF (18-11) on Friday morning. Kaitlyn Beck & Sydney Majick took a 22-20, 21-15 win for the Eagles' first point of the match. Ava Lilliquist & Alexis Keeter raced to a 21-10, 21-12 win, and Emma Soncrant & Vanessa Moriarty clinched the team win with a 21-16, 21-19 victory.
