McHenry twirls a gem, Faught knocks in game’s only run in Mona Shores softball victory over Grandville
LocalSportsJournal.com Miley Peterson’s double followed by Mady Faught’s single in the top of the first inning was all Mona Shores softball needed on Friday night in its 1-0 victory over Grandville. Shores pitcher Jaslene McHenry was the story of the night with a complete game shutout. She struck out 12 and allowed two walks. Shores also got a hit from Lilli Baskin. Mona Shores is now 2-3 overall and travels to Byron Center on Tuesday.
