Eagle Bats Tamed, MSU Falls to Lindenwood 15-2

Morehead, Ky. -- Morehead State was held to just three hits and the Lindenwood bats came alive as the Lions downed the Eagles 15-2 in seven innings Saturday at Allen Field in Prefontaine Park. Morehead State (18-20, 5-9 OVC) scored two runs on back-to-back leadoff solo home runs by Nick Griffith and Brayton Coomer . Griffith's was his fifth of the season, a shot over the screen in right center. Coomer's drive, his third of the season, cleared the screen in straightaway center field.
