Foresters Split Doubleheader at Ripon

The Lake Forest College softball team was edged out 2-1 in the doubleheader opener before winning game two 6-2 at Ripon College on Saturday. Junior shortstop Kaia Mismash accounted for half of the Foresters’ six base hits in game one and all three were doubles. She is just the eighth player in program history to double three times in a game. A solo home run for Ripon in the bottom of the fifth inning broke the scoreless tie.
