Grove City splits at W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa. — The Grove City College baseball team moved to 10-6 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference by splitting a doubleheader Saturday at conference leader Washington & Jefferson (23-7, 13-3). Grove City (15-14) won the opener at Ross Memorial Park, 7-6, while W&J captured a 13-1 win in the nightcap. Senior first baseman Colin Marinpetro (Imperial, Pa./West Allegheny) belted a pair of home runs in the opener to help pace Grove City’s 10-hit attack.
