Men’s Tennis Shut Out by No. 3 Tufts
NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Connecticut College men’s tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 3 Tufts University on Saturday afternoon at the Conn College Tennis Courts. The Jumbos won eight of the nine matches—including all six singles contests in straight sets—to improve to 16-2 overall and 7-0 in the league. Conn’s lone victory came at No. 2 doubles, where the tandem of Edward Petersen (Cape Town, South Africa) and Sigmund Winiecki (Jaffrey, N.H.) posted a 7-5 win over Garv Bahl and Eren Cheung. Conn (3-13 overall, 0-7 NESCAC) will next host Bates College on Sunday, April 19 at 9:30 a.m.
