Minnesota Falls 4-2 to No. 1 UCLA in Game One
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – The University of Minnesota baseball team opened up their weekend road series against No. 1 UCLA tonight, falling to the Bruins 4-2 despite out hitting the top ranked team at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Cole Selvig got the ball to start the tilt for Minnesota and was credited with the loss. Adam Urban was a bright spot for the Golden Gophers, coming out of the bullpen and throwing 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing no hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
