Offense and Defense face off in first scrimmage of spring
CHENEY, Wash. — Practice was put into action on Saturday morning as Eastern Washington football held the first scrimmage of its spring schedule. The offense started fast as Nate Bell connected with Jaxon Branch on the first play for a 75-yard touchdown. Bell finished the day with 118 yards through the air and two touchdowns. He found Cole Pruett in the endzone for an 11-yard touchdown. Branch ended the day with two catches for 82 yards and the score. Pruett had five receptions for 41 yards.
