Oneonta Finishes Cortland Classic

CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Oneonta men’s track & field team concluded the Cortland Classic on Saturday afternoon, with the Red Dragons competing in most events. Freshman Alex Wheeler ran a personal best of 16:49.12 to finish 11th in the 5,000-meter. Sophomore Vincent DiStefano (Nesconset, NY/Smithtown West) crossed at a personal best of 16:57.04 for 12th place. In the 800-meter, junior Colin Gerbsch (Marcellus, NY/Marcellus) crossed tenth at 2:04.12, while freshman Garrett Ryan placed 11th at 2:04.62.
