Redhawks Drop Saturday Doubleheader to Lindenwood

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri (14-27, 10-9) dropped two games to Lindenwood (22-20, 11-9) by scored of 7-3 and 5-0 Saturday at the Southeast Softball Complex. LU overcame a two-run deficit to get by SEMO in game one. Lily Delmain’s two-run home run put the Redhawks ahead, 2-0, in the bottom of the third inning before the Lions countered with a five-run fourth to pull ahead. Kylee Crowder hit a grand slam to key LU’s decisive surge. SEMO cut LU’s lead to 5-3 on an RBI-single by Delmain in the bottom of the fifth. LU then finished things off…
