Smith Bears Fall to No. 11 MIT, 7-0, in NEWMAC Action
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Smith College women’s tennis team was swept by No. 11 Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 7-0, in NEWMAC competition Saturday at MIT. The Engineers claimed the doubles point with a clean sweep before winning all six singles contests in straight sets, dropping the Bears to 6-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
