Softball Splits Day With FGCU
FT. MYERS, Fla. – Jacksonville softball split a pair of games with Florida Gulf Coast Saturday, defeating the Eagles 7-1 in the first of two contests, but falling 2-1 in the second. The Dolphins moved to 28-16 and 12-5 in conference play following the pair of games with one more tilt against the Eagles set for Sunday at 1 p.m. In the first game, graduate Alison Carter clobbered the Eagles to the tune of five RBIs.
