Softball Takes Two on the Road at Emerson

Boston, Mass. – April 18, 2026 – The Springfield College softball team earned its 20th win of the season after sweeping Emerson College in a NEWMAC doubleheader on the road today. Not counting the COVID shortened seasons, Springfield has produced 20 or more wins in nine consecutive seasons. Springfield won the first game 10-0 in five innings and the nightcap, 3-2, in eight. The Pride improved to 20-9 overall and to 10-4 in NEWMAC play, while Emerson fell to 3-17, 1-9.
