Cardinals Compete at Bryan Clay Invitational
AZUSA, Calif. - The University of the Incarnate Word men's track and field team competed at this weekend's Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University. Sophomore Anthony Zapata took part in both the 800 meter invite and the 1500 meter invite. Zapata ran the 800m in 1:48.66, placing 28th out of 118 and setting a personal best mark. He was nearly two seconds quicker than his previous personal best time of 1:50.56, which he set at the Charles Austin Classic in March.
