Griese, Moreno named Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week

COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University women’s golfer Tais Moreno and women’s track and field student-athlete Romi Griese are this week’s Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week. Moreno (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) tied for 16th at the Southland Conference Championships last week as the Lions finished fifth at the final tournament of the season. Griese (Salzkotten, Germany) competed at the Beach Invitational, recording a season-best mark of 172-0 (52.44m) for seventh at the meet and now ranks second in the conference. The Lion Track and Field team heads to Houston this Saturday for the J. Fred Duckett Twilight.…
