Jabs Pitches Shutout As Softball Splits With USJ
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College softball team split a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader with the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday, winning game one, 2-0 before losing game two, 6-0. Annabelle Jabs (East Hartland, Conn.) pitched a seven inning complete game, striking out eight batters in game one. Reilly Austin (Cumberland, R.I.) drove in a run for the Falcons while Mikaela Schwippert (Whippany, N.J.) went 3-for-3 in the first game.
