Lightning’s Dominic James activated off IR, available for Game 1

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Dominic James has been activated off injured reserve and will be available for Game 1 of the team’s first-round series against the Montreal Canadiens. James has been out of the lineup since Feb. 28 after suffering an injury against the Buffalo Sabres. He was cross-checked into the boards by Sabres’ defenseman Michael Kesselring, with the two falling awkwardly after the initial contact. James is playing in his first professional season.
