Monmouth Seals Sweep with 3–1 Win Over Towson

TOWSON, MD. —Monmouth completed a series sweep with a 3–1 comeback victory over Towson on Sunday at Tiger Softball Stadium. After two scoreless innings, Towson struck first in the bottom of the third with an RBI single to take a 1–0 lead. Monmouth responded late, rallying in the sixth inning when Sammy Miller reached on a fielder's choice bunt and advanced to second on an error, allowing Giana Scotti to score the tying run.
