Track & Field Breaks Records at Tom Jones Memorial Meet

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (April 18, 2026) – South Carolina Track & Field concluded the Tom Jones Memorial on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. by recording three wins and seven new Top 10 program marks. Among those new program marks comes a new program record as the women’s 4×400 meter relay of Akala Garrett, JaMeesia Ford, Cynteria James and Zaya Akins closed out the meet with a time of 3:23.42.
