Women’s tennis defeats Loras

ROCK ISLAND — The Augustana Vikings women’s team celebrated the senior class with a 5-2 victory over the Loras Duhawks on Sunday. The Vikings secured the early lead after conquering all the doubles matchups. Hannah Colbert and Anna-Maria Huebel sealed a 7-5 victory. Colleen Larry and Maripaz Ramirez , along with Natasha Gauerke and Maitreyi Shrikhande , each picked up 6-1 wins. The Duhawks took the top singles spot, but Augie responded with the next three matchups.
