Chris Olivier named SLC Pitcher of the Week for fourth time

FRISCO, Texas — Chris Olivier was named Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon. The Cardinal right-hander became the first Lamar pitcher since 2021 to record a complete-game shutout, tossing a two-hit gem in Game 1 against Northwestern State to lead LU to a 5-0 victory.
