LAHAINA, Hawaii -- UC Irvine is in fifth place after the first round of The Big West Championship held at the Kaanapali Golf Resort. UCI shot a first round of 295 on the Royal Kaanapali course and is in fifth place. UC Davis leads the championship with a 18-hole score of 285.
