And six programs in The News Courier’s coverage area — Athens Bible, Lindsay Lane, Clements, Elkmont, East Limestone and Athens — are part of that potential state title equation as the playoffs get underway starting Thursday. As area champions, Lindsay Lane, Elkmont and East Limestone will each host opening-round matchups. Athens Bible, Clements and Athens, meanwhile, will all hit the road.
